A Captain To Bondage

A Captain To Bondage

A captain is a leader, a commander with power and authority. A captain is most often installed by either a higher authority, collective authority or by self authority.

Captains often have either a set target or many set targets to achieve with those he/she is leading. Tonight we will be looking at the captains of self authority. May the sweet Holy Spirit guide us as we proceed in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen!

A CAPTAIN TO BONDAGE – WHAT IS IT AND HOW IS IT BORN?

In order to save us from the grip and shackles of any captain of bondage, God Himself gave us a captain who would save us from every oppression and captivity. His Name is Jesus Christ the Loving Son of God. Heb 2 v 1 – 10.

OUR DELIVERER: THE CAPTAIN OF OUR SALVATION

  • He was chosen before the Foundation of the World. 1 Pet. 1 v 20; Eph. 1 v 4
  • God gave him for us. Rom. 8 v 32; John 3 v 16

CONCLUSION
When we disobey God by going against his statutes, walk in pride or we are not mindful of him, then unconsciously were appointing a captain to bondage, but when we walk in the light as he is in the light, then the captain of our Salvation is ever present and willing to lead us into everlasting Joy and consolation.

Remain in Him. Shalom!!
